Angularity was painted with transparent blue glass enamel on 16 layers of glass. When the layers were complete, they were stacked in a kiln and fired to nearly 1500F, causing the layers to gently melt together into a single solid glass block that is 2″ thick.
The resulting block was then cut into wide slices, cold-worked, and then assembled into a final sculpture.
Angularity can be positioned in many different orientations. I suggest that you change the display orientation regularly to keep it fresh!
